Sundevils - Wildcats

This years trip to AZ to spend time with Family, celebrate my Grandma’s 80th birthday (which she looks amazing and is still strong and filled with energy I only hope to be as healthy as she is) , get to see my sister’s class room, and celebrate Christmas early, was short but fun filled and couldn’t have been any more wonderful! First we drove into Phoenix to my sisters house and she took me to her class room (she is a music teacher for elementary as well as a choir teacher for Jr high) I saw her elementary school music room which she has so wonderfully decorated. Being a home school mom I truly believe in making learning fun and incorporating music to teach concepts is in my opinion a must! This year for school I started Music Mondays and thanks to my wonderful seester she has shared wonderful secrets to help Carissa Nathan and I make beautiful music together ;-)  Also before we headed to Tucson, Katye showed me a wonderful recipe to add to my weekly meals. It was new and delicious! After yummy cake we finally got on the road and were happily greeted with lots of dogs and people we love! We really didn’t go exploring out of the house but there wasn’t any need when you have lots of fun people under one roof, Wii, lots of snacks and great food, a huge yard, and a ping pong table. It was much needed time spent with one another and I will always cherish the memories. But I do have to add next year it will be a much longer trip!
