As most of you know we have had the experience of our lives with finding out David had bone cancer. I would be lying if I said the whole experience was a great one but I firmly believe that God is the one who not only brought us to the end of our journey safely but also with a new appreciation for life, family, friends, the power of prayer, and His everlasting Word! With that said it seems for now this chapter is coming to a close and a new one awaits us….well not for long seeing as though tomorrow is David’s first day back to work. While we somewhat foresaw this time to come a few months ago David received a call from a timeshare rep…Normally a call like this would end in a mid conversation hang up but David politely continued listening and thankfully he did because it brought a great opportunity to end this chapter with one last family vacation to celebrate all that we have been through together and the glue that kept us strongly bonded together, our Heavenly Father ;-) The offer was made and our vacation was planned, we scored a good deal renting a condo for 2 days and 2 nights on a resort that offered many perks as well as tickets for sea world a place Carissa has been dreaming about since her teacher asked her class if anyone has been there before. A much needed R and R and memories for David the kids and I to hold on to. I’m sooo glad we got a few pics to look back on and remember what a great planner and networker God is. Hope as you scan through our memories you not just see smiling faces but the testimony of a true living God who loves you as He has lavished love on us by giving His Son as a sacrifice on Calvary so that you may experience His grace and mercy.
